  1. Val, I have a great love of tapestries.
Some of the most wonderful ones I’ve seen are in Kilkenny Castle and the point is always made that mistakes were deliberately made to show that people are not ‘perfect.’ It’s something that often comes to my mind ‘cos perfectionism can be such a scourge.

  2. The Weaver of our own tapestry is very special indeed. Val, I really liked that line in your haiku.

  11. Lovely, Val. I’ve long appreciated tapestry as a metaphor for life — how we see just one small part of it and often believe that’s all there is, yet it’s all already there.

  14. Wonderful metaphor – but I do feel as if we too have a say in the design of our own tapestries.

  17. Haiku conveys to me three good qualities balance patience and trust.
The Celtic tapestry represents Pisces sign and my pommepal Pauline and I are both march the fifth. So Val this post speaks to me. That is why I think it is beautiful.
Your thoughts may have gone deeper, did I only read my thoughts into it? _/\_

  19. Sometimes it’s hard to imagine how all the fibers become connected–that’s when we need to trust the weaver. Terrific haiku Val, really lovely.
