* Love this Time of Year in my Garden!

This is such a special time of year.

Spring has brought new growth, and this year an abundance of roses in our garden.
I love this composition next to where we eat on the patio. The yellow corydilis has only survived in the walls over winter.
The metal rabbit is still there sitting quietly… Oblivious to the metal dog a few feet behind it.
Hostas are trying to get in on the action. Their time will be coming soon, after the day lilies have given us their lovely show of sunshine.

Yes. I do love this time of year to pause and be grateful for all that grows and flourishes around me 🙂

Guess where I will be this weekend ….

I hope you also find a special place to pause, unwind and connect to what you love 🙂

  2. Sitting in the garden surrounded by flowers in bloom and their gentle perfume tickling our nostrils is one of the most satisfactory and relaxing things I can think of. Soak it all in Val, time to reflect.

    • The recent heavy rain has ended the peak blooms … But there are still more to have their day in the sun 🙂
I’m feeling lighter too! Thank you for noticing xo

    • Thank you Karen. Yes I plan to enjoy the flowers this weekend and being in the colors and fragrances. I may even take out a yoga mat and practice in the garden. It’s always very special! xo

  13. Love hearing about other people’s garden compositions. I’m working on rescuing my perennial border garden after I made a terrible mistake in adding a very invasive groundcover. Removed the groundcover and today bought some new perennials to fill in what was smothered over. For me a garden is life re-surging in the spring after long winters. A gardener deals in hope and optimism. (Can’t get the link to work on my avatar, so here’s a link to my recent garden work update.) https://writenowjbw.wordpress.com/2017/06/21/before-and-during/
