* Discover Isle of Skye

I was inspired by  David Kanigan’s Beachy Head video this morning. Flying high over the south coast of England. Being a Scot, I had to share one of my favorite magical places in Scotland – The Isle of Skye. Enjoy the rousing music and breathtaking views 🙂

  7. I have such fond memories of Skye, and used to visit the Western Highlands regularly many years ago. A friend of mine lived up in Lochinver, Sutherland, and another on Skye itself.

    Happy memories.

  11. Wow, wild and woolley as they say! Great video, and as a Scot, I’m ashamed to say I have never been to the Isle of Skye. 😦 Now I know I have to go there on my next trip to Scotland. Thanks Val, really enjoyed it.

    • Barb, I only discovered Skye 6 years ago when I was showing Scotland off to my soon to be husband. I’ve never explored it much when I lived there! Its definitely with the trip north 🙂

    I’ve never been to the Isle of Skye, but I do adore Scotland! So rugged and windswept. Thanks for the tour.

        Yes, I noticed that about Scotland. Certainly a different kind of beauty that my wooded Sierras. But, oh….I do love the rugged windswept nature of your fair land.
