I came across this quote about potting soil for inner blooming… and simply couldn’t resist it!  It’s a simple message full of wisdom for the highs and lows of life.

“Disappointment and distress can serve as rich potting soil that will enhance the color and scent of your inner flowers”.

  1. Nice quote from Omraam. Not sure we all want to be made unhappy with life, But it does seem the way it is.. Life is ever changing and ever disappointing, with only fleeting moments of joy.. Yes, my experience too. But then I have just had a second tree fall on my garden this year, destroying the shrubs and well taking down other trees, and all because people will not allow the trees to thrive and bloom for them or for me. I am not surprised so many of us do get distressed with the madness of life.. eve

So sorry this has been a tough time. As we know in our minds, things are always changing … and will pass. And in the meantime we can connect with our heart and soul.
When life is really tough for me, the first question I ask is what do i need to let go of?
Am I not accepting something that is real?
…. Its easy to be attached to something that we believe is better and different from this reality.
To get the life force flowing again we must embrace rather than resist!

  3. I remember reading somewhere that certain kinds of stress are good for plants…and people for that matter. Your post today seems to follow that line of thinking Val. Are you still gallivanting abroad?
